South Tyneside Young Carers Project has been delivering support to young carers and their families for 15 years, with the aim of improving their quality of life and reducing the risk of isolation. We passionately believe that every young carer should be able to enjoy their childhood and have a supportive environment in which they can retreat from the pressures they often face. Our team of experienced and caring staff work closely with local partners and schools to support young carers through a range of services including one to one support, family support and emotional support. We also provide recreational and respite activities including residential short breaks, after school clubs during term time and activities during school holidays. These services provide support that would otherwise not be available, contributing significantly to the health and wellbeing of those we support. All Case Studies. View All.

The scheme is open to all local businesses to allow them to promote their products and services, for recruitment purposes, or simply to raise awareness of their location and build local presence.
However, there is the possibility that one sponsor can reserve the entire portfolio if interest is registered at this early stage. Businesses can reserve one or more sites in their desired location, and are encouraged to express their interest now to ensure that they are one of the first to be part of this exciting new scheme.
